Meet Our Team

Dr. Mary Siri

Veterinarian 

Dr. Mary Siri was born and raised locally in Santa Cruz county. She received an animal science degree from UC Davis in 2001. After working for a few years as a veterinary technician, she returned to school to pursue her childhood ambition of becoming a veterinarian. She studied veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences and earned her doctorate in 2008. After graduation, she returned to the Aptos area and has practiced in small animal and avian clinics.
Dr. Siri enjoys working with a variety of patients, including dogs, cats, and exotic animals like birds, rabbits, and rodents. On her days off, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. 

Dr. Tricia Sera

Veterinarian 

Dr. Tricia Sera is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University Veterinary School in 1994. She practiced small animal medicine for 20 years while she raised her 2 children and menagerie of pets. In 2014, she journeyed to California with her son where she has been practicing for the last 10 years and has a special interest in dentistry, dermatology, and geriatrics. She recently landed at Del Mar Pet Hospital and loves engaging, advising, and partnering with owners in the care of their pets. In her spare time, Dr. Sera can be found mountain biking the Santa Cruz mountains or surfing at her favorite spot, The Hook.

Dr. Brooks-McMahon

Veterinarian 

Dr. Nichole was born and raised in Sonoma County, California.  She received her bachelor’s degree from University of California Santa Cruz in 1999.  After her bachelor’s degree she worked as a senior keeper for an African Wildlife Preserve called Safari West in Sonoma County.   Dr. Nichole then pursued advanced training at St. George’s University and North Carolina State University where she completed her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Nichole loves being a general practitioner and enjoys the excitement of emergency medicine.  Dr. Nichole Brooks-McMahon focuses on preventative care, surgery, and medical treatment of a variety of diseases.  She is currently accepting new patients.
